Ava won 2nd Place in the "Toons For Ten" poster contest (and is a new contributor to the Greenwich Cartooning Chronicles (The newsletter is published by Lohmeyer an artist from Cos Cob, who teaches group lessons at the Old Greenwich-Riverside Community Center (20) and private lessons at Jack Dog Studio on Greenwich Avenue (20). Instructor Phil Lohmeyer chose Ava's comic strip, "The Plankton Plan," because it is her own version of what might happen on an episode of "SpongeBob." Besides cartooning, Ava likes working with clay and learning about the artwork of Pablo Picasso. ![]() ![]() ![]() Ava likes to watch "SpongeBob SquarePants" on television, and her favorite character is Patrick Star.
